I am sorry about your tree! It is always sad to lose them 😢 Believe it or not, I was trying to evolve the colorful landscape home into a thunderstorm after you mentioned your rainstorm. I never quite got what I was aiming for but had fun trying and got some interesting creations. 🥰🙂
I have talked to my trees and plants but never hugged them. It is a bad idea to touch trees down here as most are loaded with chiggers🤢
You can upload a photo by selecting"start image" option and then choosing upload and upload your photo. Choose your uploaded photo as the "start image" in "create". I have only uploaded several photos (my pets, The photo I took of St. Francis in our Narthex, and one of e) and just applied different artists and art styles to them. My profile picture is the photo of me as a watercolor splash art rendition by Margolein Bastine and Carne Griffiths (the prompts) I am not at all an expert on photo upload creations so I am afraid I can not be of much help. The best way to learn is upload one and start playing. ☺️ And have FUN! 😲
Thanks, it is sad to lose them. Don't remember if I ever asked you - if it's not too weird for you - but have you ever tried talking to a tree - or hugging one?
Good try on the colourful landscape/rainstorm scenes. If it's meant to it will come - or not - sooner or later.
Quick question if I may? Is it possible to incorporate a photo into a creation and manipulate that?
Sorry should not be taking up your creative time. Stay safe and be especially happy you've got a great partner.
Chiggers ! Don't you love the little darlins? When we first moved to this nsanctuary from the old one near Brampton - where we had a few big trees - we found the dense woods now surrounding us invaded by tree strangling vines. Of course first opportunity after we settled in I took a machete and started severing the vines at their thickest points, hitched up the little tractor and began pulling them down.
Talk about ITCH. Dr. said worst case of chiggers he had seen in years. Put it down to the warm summer months and that we have an artesian well which keeps a large part of the 'forest' floor saturated. Live and Learn. I do hug a couple of my favourite trees when I am feeling low - but they are well away from the humid areas.
You say "down here" How far down are you? The Eastern Time Zone includes Panama - I went through that canal once?
Thanks for explaining re photos - will try to get my head around it and start experimenting someday.
Totally sympathize with your pain. I am allergic to chiggers and wind up on cortisone. Down here is Florida, otherwise known as chigger land. 😵
You will do fine. Just keep pressing buttons until you figure it out. The biggest "problem" here is too many choices, 😲 although from my perspective they are opportunities 😄 and you are only limited by your imagination. When I first started here I was totally overwhelmed. 😵💫 I still am, but it has become more manageable. 🙂

Love the mood you've captured in all your storm pictures. I lost a tree in this week's storm - right across the driveway. It's always sad to see them go, but it's a circle of life kind of thing.
