I'm sorry for that! To be honest.. if you had written this in the description (you should mention it!), I wouldn't have given it a like. This is a good image, but I think it's not fair to post here images which have been made by a more advanced AI generator, then collect so many likes to run up to hourly/daily/monthly top places. You know this kinda things put NightCafe creators at disadvantage. By the way, most Midjourney guys at least use to mark the origin of their images!

I’m sorry you feel that way NotMe, but Midjourney is there for us all to use and transfer images over as we wish. I have put other images from Midjourney and they have not done this well so this is all new to me. I never imagined that it would have got this far. I don’t put images up to get lots of likes I put images which are of interest me and I want to share them. Thank you for your opinion I will make a note on my next one that it was from Midjourney.

Thanks to take in account my opinion! Generally speaking, there's many Midjourney creation on this site and usually they used to be on top. Midjourney is here indeed! but shouldn't be on NightCafe, as this site dedicated for creations generated by their own AI algorithms. That's not an accident that you can't find an option like "Importing creation from Midjourney" so need to apply tricks, like styletransfer (without change the stlye). Anyway, it's not my scope/range to judge, so it's still my personal opinion and I know most people don't care about this topic that more and more Midjourney creations pop up among NC creations. I just hope nobody will go for the 1st place on daily challenge with these creations (maybe it isn't possible, don't know...).

It generally doesn’t bother me whether people wish to use NC or Midjourney to create their images and post them. As I said it’s not restrictive to use. Also no you cannot put Midjourney creations into the challenge.

Even if something is not restrictive directly, not means it's fair to do... also, NighCafe couldn't think on every cases which can appear here when they formed their policy. On the other hands, don't forget that style transfer is clearly not intended to use for importing other platforms' creations here (esp. with zero changes in style...). It is obvious that there's no official way to do this, means they not support it!

The developers have spent a lot of time (and money) to create/customize algorithms for their own purpose and establish this platform with its functions, including the possibility to publish your (NightCafe) creations. It's also for demonstrate the capacity of NC algorithms (marketing purpose). What is your thought about all of this? Do you really think they burn from the passion to advertise what Midjourney capable to do here on NC platform? I don't think so... there are many forums where it's okay to publish MJ images, but here is not really ethical..

Oh and sorry for this debate! It's just funny for me and I have too much time :D You don't really have to process this argument. I'm always speak with respect, and hope you don't take it as an insult or attack to you!
