Thanks to everyone who created images for this round of Not Your Normal No Theme. You created a great and varied selection of images incorporating Magic and Loss.

✔ Excellent use of “melancholy elf with tree hair”—a classic, yet underappreciated, motif. ✔ Crows as dramatic sidekicks? Always a win. ✖ No visible snacks. Tragedy is fine, but where’s the emergency chocolate? ✖ Elf ears are pointy, but not dangerously pointy. A missed opportunity.
I think this artwork should be called “The Tree Thinks for Me, but the Crows Gossip Too Much.”

I adore this reply. I had not specified "elf" anywhere in my prompt. Only "being". So, yeah, my bad. Also, the snack thing ... In a world without magic there would be NO CHOCOLATE, silly. We'd have to settle for gristle or tripe. Or maybe chalk.
