My original title was "I'm part giraffe on my father's side!" but was afraid it was considered a bit too risqué for NightCafe.

I think some of it is communication issues. My humor doesn't always translate well into other languages.

That makes sense... And so much is difficult to convey through text alone.. tone of voice, facial expression, body language.. it's all lost

Too true. Was trying to explain that exact thing to my daughter last night. Her texts convey a certain tone that can be misread or interpreted differently than she intended. Lots of communication issues.
