Bloatworms are the result of a curse that kills the afflicted within about 3 months. The exact details are too gruesome to detail here, but a single cursed human sized being would produce 3 worms on average.  A bloatworm is 120 to 170 cm long and 7 to 9 cm in diameter. They have rudimentary eyesight and their entire surface is a single large scent organ. They have a hard beak made of an unidentified bonelike substance, and insectile intelligence.

Underwear Without You was one concept I kicked around before deciding on something else. I find this one amusing, so I kept it. I especially like the wisp of smoke, as if the wearer was somehow suddenly vaporized.

Continued from Bloatworm 2: The initial bloatworm curse can be produced with high or rarely low magic. Since it is a curse and not a disease or poison the condition cannot be cured with medicine or magical healing. Even panacea is useless against it. Certain clerics of the Nine can remove the curse, and some sanctioned high magic users may also be able to do so.
