Hana bore a mysterious mark on her forehead, which Valerius identified as The Echo Of Hatred from a scroll in the Herhardt library.
The mark changed colors under unknown circumstances, and despite its mystery, Valerius reassured Hana it didnโt diminish her worth.
All Herhardt staff was personally trained by its Dukes. Recognizing Hana's unhinged magic power during training, Valerius tried teaching her to control it, but when it proved too volatile, he taught her physical combat instead.
Though she believed her feelings for Valerius would never be reciprocated, Hana found purpose in serving him. Her silent love became her strength, a quiet devotion that guided her every action.

Lovely. Hana has grown further. She looks even more mature and stunning. I love the way she smile softly while watching intently with her eyes. For the story, looking forward to read more about her combat preference. I think she will be deadly even without any weapons giving her beauty and her ability to ensnare man (except probably Val).
Since I'm a fan of The sorcerrer's stone, I think it may be a curse. One deadly enough to kill the whole family and drive her to the slum.
I know that one day my tenacity in reading those useless fantasy books will payoff ๐
