Tornabow was born *inside* a massive thunderstorm. The energy within that storm transformed the young cells within his body.

As he grew older and those cells matured he began to gain abilities... a healing touch that could heal injuries simply by holding his hand above and wishing it done. He also gained super-strength so he was easily able to lift heavy objects like storm debris. 

He picked his name by combining the words 'tornado' & 'rainbow'. 

A storm cannot be controlled, nature must run its course. But like a rainbow, Tornabow is the beauty that comes after a storm .. but rather than 'pretty colors in the sky', his "beauty" is saving people. 


After the tornado hits, Tornabow swoops down in a flash of color to save people caught in the destruction

Most lightning that hits ground is a Negative Strike, meaning it results from a negative electrical charge within the cloud.

Occasionally Positive Strike will occur (just the opposite, a positive charge within the cloud) these are somewhat uncommon, and tend to carry far more power than the common negative strike. They also tend to occur from higher within the cloud.

That said, the majority of lightning is "intra-cloud", meaning it stays within the cloud. (these are not considered positive or negative strikes, since they do not strike the ground)
