You Can use a negative prompt to stop the fame in the image.

I've had varied success with that. Do you have some advice on which key words help prevent that? I often find the default negative prompt hijacks the control I have over some of the finer details I work hard to achieve

Perhaps try a separate neg prompt, set all the way down. "Image border, Image partial border, framed image"
