* This project has ended * Welcome to my Stone Soup Community Project. Participants can provide a prompt for the according to some simple guidelines below. I will merge them all together and see what the AI does with it, and I’ll share the result with all participants. Some loose Guidelines:

1. The theme of this project is “Anything that you might see in a landscape painting.” STONE SOUP is just the name of the Project. DO NOT use STONE, SOUP or related words in your prompt.

2. The subject/object part of the prompt should be mostly representational rather than purely abstract.

3. If you want, the prompt can include an Artist’s name and a couple of Modifiers, and can be any number of words between 3 and 30.

4. Add your prompt as a comment to this post. I will send a link to everyone to share the result.

PS: Google “Stone Soup fable” if you do not know the story.

Want to provide a new prompt (unrelated to soup🙂 ) that I can mash together? See guidelines in description at top.

Hey, everyone. Here are the results of the group project:

1. I loaded all of the prompts and ran in Artistic mode. Here is the result:

2. I duplicated the creation and ran in Coherent mode:

3. I deleted all of the modifiers, added “by James Gurney” as the only modifier and ran in Coherent mode

4. Lastly, I ran the shortened and modified prompts from step 3 in Artistic mode.

Thanks for your contributions and I hope y’all enjoyed participating. I will probably do this again with a new subject, and I will be asking if you would like to join in at that time.

Here is what I got when I ran your prompt all by itself (Pretty weird, eh?)

Is this surprising to you?

Indeed. Strange how combining 3 different prompts of my favorite products end up changing the outcome completely. It looks like a house on a marshmallow

Yea pluging in all of them inbthe same prompt had a huge effect difference

"Vessel containing edible liquid in a landscape, by Michael hutter , by Peter gric, by supamas taweechotipatr, photograph" - this will probably weird things up quite a bit so go easy on the prompt weight, maybe 0.3, 0.4.

Ok I’ve just read the stone soup fable and I see where you’re going with this. Ignore my previous comment and go with “Trees and birds, by Peter Gric, by Michael Hutter - weight 0.5”.

Perfect, thanks. ["Stone Soup" is a European folk story in which hungry strangers convince (or trick) the people of a town to each put some of their food in a large pot. The penniless hungry strangers get a free meal and the stew is shared with everyone.] But NOW the subject is "Anything that you might see in a landscape painting". You got it.

I like this idea, it’s going to be interesting to see the results. It reminds me of the old surrealist game of exquisite corpse.
