I can have a little occasionally to accompany a dessert like a pie or cake-pudding but I have to take lactase tablets. They're the enzyme that helps a person digest lactose. But I don't like to often since the tablet's can give me a stomach ache. This also means no cheese ☹️, except I can have Parmesan because it's a very hard aged cheese and has very little whey left. The whey is where the lactose is. I like drinking some milk and put a lot in my tea. I'm able to buy lactose-free milk which is more expensive but for me, worth it.
