Pysanky—Ukrainian Eggs—Batik-style (and other Slavs to a greater/lesser extent)
In early Spring, Ukrainians decorate eggs using a metal stylus attached to a 'kistka' (stick), using beeswax melted using candles (there are now also modern electric kistkas) and applied in specific naturalistic and abstract designs for their spring holidays:

Yep, this is the Ukrainian way of decorating the eggs with beeswax batik which I've done since I was a little girl 😉 😃 😄 Also, only 3 days (or less depending on time zone) from when I created this, to Spring Equinox

Beautiful image! So much skill required. I made these once ages ago with a friend who would do this every year. I was not very good at drawing on an egg LOL
It does take practice to draw on a round yet craggly surface, esp with a wax-imbued stylus!!
Excellent; the back one especially looks like a trad.pysanka, and the front one like a more take, painted & then with a pysanka band
I cheated this year and let the AI decorate the eggs 🐱
