Hello cousin

nice.

Cool

Me: Are snails and hermit crabs cousins? Copilot: Not quite cousins, but they’re distant relatives on the great tree of invertebrate life. Snails are mollusks, specifically in the class Gastropoda, while hermit crabs are crustaceans, part of the class Malacostraca. So while they both fall under the broader umbrella of invertebrates and share some ecological overlap -- like their mutual appreciation for snail shells -- they’re not closely related in evolutionary terms.
