He's a young γρύψ ... what we today would call a Gryphon.  Arlewyn is the Gryph'.  Tiernyn is a charcater in several of my ongoing story threads.  He could very well have been a Gryphon-friend but I do not as yet know at what point they became acquainted.

I saw the Challenge topic yesterday and found it tickling my thoughts as to which character belonged in the frame.  *Here we are!*

Now that it seems a high percentage of folks are interested in their story I will need to make time to unwind and relate it. 

So, maybe it was just their time to be remembered!?

Ha, I didn’t exactly go to enormous lengths to come up with that name did I?  I could have at least gone searching for something latin, (Bubo-Cat) or Gaelic (Comhachag-Cat) But still, I like Owl-Cat too - it has a certain connection with Dragon-Cat 😊 but maybe not in the story you have brewing. Speaking of your percolating tale, it seems it’s about time for it to emerge?!🥰🤓🤟 time to spill some light on it?😊🥰
