Stage 2: Threaded Burgeoning (Nerve Integration Begins)

Effect on Host:A deep, radiating warmth spreads along the spine. Coordination begins to falter, replaced by moments of involuntary muscle spasms. The whispers grow more distinct, shifting into fragmented words that mimic the host’s own voice. Some hosts report hearing their own thoughts spoken aloud by an unseen presence.

Fact: At this stage, any attempt to surgically remove the parasite results in immediate spinal failure, as the threads have latched onto motor functions.
