Her small chubby finger pushed up her glasses as she read the articles stunned at how much work were put into them. They involved things that she didn’t understand, but it did make her see just how smart and passionate her soulmate is regarding his science work.
The next morning just before school, she told her parents about her soulmate being an incredibly awesome and well-respected scientist who worked at Culver University. Her parents, bless them, didn’t know what to say other than that they were happy that her soulmate is not a “lazy bum who lays around and does nothin’ all day.”
Honestly? She’s more than grateful that her soulmate is doing well for himself. That he is doing what he loved and is successful at what he does. Though she feels really bad for those who actually have incredibly lazy, dead-beat soulmates – really, really bad.
