HAUNTED FOREST VILLAGE (polyphonic prose story)

Deep in the forest, in the mist, there's a haunted forest village you can’t resist. Although, not on any maps, it does still exist, don’t go there, or soon you may be missed. The site of an ancient, crashed meteorite… since that day it’s without any daylight. Everything is gray, not even starlight, but it's business as usual, every night. Selling wares by half-light, the night market is fully jammed tight. All the forty fortune-tellers really have second sight. They'll sell you their beans and potions, just like you'd expect they might. If you insist on persisting or won’t heed my forewarning in spite. You may simply be a somnambulist, asleep and wandering despite. There may not be any daylight, but it’s even much darker at night. You may go there anytime, but don’t ever at the stroke of midnight. Do you hear the village calling… does your blood now excite?
