kazehaya (directions to subway)

Almost on my way home, I was approached by a lost foreigner with a puzzled expression. He says that he doesn’t know English, as he isn’t proficient enough, but he asks if I knew Spanish. Being a language-app learner, I nodded while replying with a simple “Sí.” He pulls out a map of the city I live in, asking for the nearest subway station. I gladly pointed the direction to the subway station. He thanked for my hospitality and went on his way. I could sense the relief on his face, and I finally put my Spanish lessons to good use.
