Colorful Depression

Dreamshaper XL Lightning
Depression is like knowing, logically, that you're surrounded by beauty and joy, but you, yourself, are unable to feel that joy even when you normally would.
It's a very strange predicament, and it can even feel strange in the moment. Like you know how you "should" feel, but your correct emotions just take a backseat to wherever the ones in the front take you.
This is anecdotal. But the artwork does a great job to show the dichotomy of where someone can be physically, and yet, where someone can be mentally.
Wherever you can, be kind to those around you. It never ceases to amaze me how a bright smile and a good laugh at the right time can brighten my day even when it's a hard day.
