Coachman

There is a legend of a kindly toymaker who was once a friend of all children, until the day a little boy vanished. Believing the man responsible the village took matters into their own hands, exiling the toymaker to a barren island. When the boy turned up alive and safe the villagers tried to make amends, but the toymaker was changed by his exile and treatment. Rage and hatred having turned him into a being of nightmares, he vowed to take his revenge. Returning to the village disguised as a Coachman in Red every night, to lead astray the sons of the villagers who'd wronged him. Since that day, little boys are warned, "be good and kind lest the Coachman of Pleasure Island find you."
