It was their favorite place, before they started exploring their alternate wardrobes. They'd never run across each other then. It was gaudy, but ... other places might not have accepted their wearing dresses or skirts.
But once they joined the community, they were told, yes, indeed, it was a good place. They went back. They both recognized a waitress, who'd been promoted to hostess.

They ordered what had been "the regular." They held hands, then released as the waitress walked by.

They left an exorbitant tip, to make up for years of lost patronage. It would be less exorbitant once they were regulars again. 25%, maybe.
