Aboleth is an aquatic monster in the Dungeons & Dragons series. They are some of the most powerful creatures in Dungeons & Dragons lore and are inscrutable in their motives. They spend their time planning and waiting for whatever scheme it is they hope comes to fruition.

While underwater, the aboleth is surrounded by transformative mucus. A creature that touches the aboleth or that hits it with a melee attack can get a disease that makes you only able breathe underwater.
