I was reading a book, but then a random character popped into my head from the inspiration so here goes the story in my head, pt 1:
  In the times of the olden days, the elvish tribes ruled the earth, with peace and prosperity. One day, one of the tribe leader's younger brothers jumped into a crack in the ground, which was a forbidden act. This brother was named Ogarius. He hated everything in this world that was prosperous and kind. He hated his older brother, the Elven tribe leader. As he jumped in, he saw a red light and horrific shadows dancing in the hazy glow. He touched the ground after a few moments, but to his astonishment, he was still alive and well.
