The modesty project means that my characters are given certain rules about their appearance. Their faces are covered so that only the eye area is visible. They wear a headscarf. Their clothes are always loose and baggy. They do not wear jewellery. I promise, with my values and honour as an artist, to keep my commitment to the modesty project forever.
