Very interesting to see this series. I've always thought that the point wasn't to change the resolution of the image we make but that it references images made at other times.

Thank you.  I agree but I also think that models now are likely only trained on high resolution images (and maybe even always).  I don't see any reason why AI would make a preference to a use a poor quality image, though emphasising the point can't be detrimental.  But perhaps it doesn't make much difference to use, say, 16K over 8K in the prompt.

Resolution challenge: Default

Default, low-res, high-res, 1K, 2K, 4K, 8K, 16K, 32K - do any of these matter in a prompt?  I tested them all using the same seed (1932986084) on Juggernaut XL v5 short run time with refiner weight at 10%

Images are, of course, different as the prompts are different but retain a very similar composition.  Personally, I don't think anything really alters, except for the default (which is possibly due to the omission of "x resolution" in the prompt).
