The 1930s was a tragic era. Politicians of the time had no concept of the necessity of government stepping in to boost economic vitality.

Millions of productive workers were thrown out of their jobs, because the policies that led to the depression were not understood.
Men of all skills were made redundant and their skills laid dormant, all in want of an all powerful economic actor to restart the engine of the private sector dynamo.
Shown here is a sad specter: a perfectly capable workingman forced to grovel just to ply his well-honed trade.

They used to make house calls. Now you have to load them all in your car and go to the shop. 😝
This is so strong! Could easily be repeated!
Yet another job that AI is stealing from the American worker!
You know, I’ve seen the machine-cut ones; they say you can’t tell the difference, but I really definitely can. It’s a lost art and I think society suffers from automation. And now they’re saying AI might actually take those jobs from the cutting machines. I tell you, it’s a rough time for craftsmen.
No wood cutter? There is always a job avaible for a wood cutter.
How many times do you have to do this before you’re considered ‘experienced’? I’m voting for once
Can I order one now? It saves unclogging the sewer
I'm concerned for all the turd-polishers that depend on this guy to be able to feed their kids. Sad times.
