The Dread Blossom Swarm consists of hundreds of foot-long crimson flowers speckled with gold and black pollen, ending in a six-inch hollow thorn. These swarms, resembling flocks of birds in flight, move swiftly with each blossom fluttering like a hummingbird. Found in ancient forests, they root in the bodies of their victims. When disturbed, they attack en masse, paralyzing prey with poison pollen and draining their blood. The swarms are native to the Beastlands but have been transplanted to other planes, causing devastation wherever they appear​​.
