"Brain Salad Surgery" by Emerson Lake and Palmer is one of my all-time favorite albums. I grew up on it, listening to EL&P -- and I was completely fascinated by the cover as well.

Only later (upon the release of "Alien" in theaters) did I find out that that cover was signed by H.R. Giger.
