DND Series : Deep Gnome (Svirfneblin) (Race)

Deep gnomes, or svirfneblin, are a subrace of gnomes who dwell in the Underdark. They are smaller and more wiry than their surface kin, standing about 3 feet tall with gray or brown skin that helps them blend into their subterranean surroundings. Known for their keen senses and exceptional stealth, svirfneblin are skilled miners and gemcutters. Despite their serious and cautious nature, they are fiercely loyal to their communities and possess a deep, albeit subdued, sense of humor. Their ability to cast innate illusion spells makes them adept at evading the many dangers of the Underdark.
