UNWELCOMED (polyphonic prose story)

Out from the hills they came in the night. What they had done could never be right. They fled again back by the bright moonlight. Something followed close, after their strike… a villager’s curse, covered with spikes. It was like a great spider with many fiery eyes, and followed this gang with their night disguises. Before the moon was high overhead. All of these men were horribly dead. Vengeance may not be for some, but hurt people will hurt people when raw anger overcomes.
