Zeray Hofna, Smuggler Captain

Zeray Hofna had always believed in the Empire’s mission to bring peace and order to the galaxy. She had witnessed the benefits of its power: quelling the rebel uprisings, abolishing slavery, fostering trade and prosperity, dismantling the criminal syndicates, collecting taxes and redistributing them for the common good. She was proud to serve the Empire as a loyal officer. But she also saw the dark side of its might: the corruption. She saw how entire planets were destroyed or exploited for the sake of the Empire’s expansion. She could not ignore the injustice and suffering that the Empire caused. She could not silence her conscience and her compassion. So she decided to do something about it. She decided to help the Rebellion, even if it meant breaking the rules and risking her life. She decided to use her access and skills to sabotage the Empire’s operations, to leak its secrets, to erase its traces. She decided to become a traitor, a rebel, a hero.
