Containment Procedures:

SCP-LEAF-005 is to be contained within a 20m x 20m x 30m reinforced greenhouse, with motion sensors installed throughout the perimeter to detect any anomalous plant growth.

The containment area must be inspected weekly to remove excessive plant matter and prevent potential breaches.

Personnel are prohibited from spending more than 30 minutes within SCP-LEAF-005’s range to prevent long-term psychological effects.

Herbicides and defoliants are to be deployed in case of unexpected growth or aggressive plant behavior.

The Briar Matron exerts control over all plant species within a 500-meter radius, causing them to grow at accelerated rates and form dense, impenetrable barriers of thorns. These barriers have been shown to react defensively to perceived threats, tightening around and impaling any entity attempting to pass through them.

SCP-LEAF-005's influence extends to inducing hallucinations in humans, often manifesting as visions of dense, overgrown forests or a pervasive sense of being watched. Prolonged exposure to these hallucinations can lead to extreme paranoia and violent behavior in subjects.
