Chiyo learned that a thing known as a funfair was happening in nearby Ki-Riku.

Having never hearing of such a thing before now, she assumes it must be fun. After all it has fun in its name.

After an hours ride to the town of Ki-Riku, they find it is inhabited by both humans and alien people.

She saw a tall alien drinking from a large tankard of ale, and overheard him telling a joke to a group of human people.

'So I said "If we're dining on Mars let's go to a different restaurant, Taki's has no atmosphere"', and a man to his right cringed at the bad pun; but Chiyo rather liked it and gave a slight smile.

Once they located the funfair they enjoyed its rides and games. Yulip ate a small golden fish they won in a game where Chiyo had to use a hooked instrument to catch rotating colorful pigs which had small hoops on their backs, and Chiyo enjoyed a very sweet pink confection the seller called Cloud Candy.
