Oh not at all! Simply being a striped forest dwelling animal shouldn't lead you to jump to any conclusions about their odour, temperament or activities!  Life on Garndamin is very different from life on earth, fortunately.

The Mephidix lives in the forests of Lainoria, often rivalling the Snukasnuka as a predator of smaller creatures. However, unlike the shy and rarely seen Snukasnuka they tend to be bold, rambuctious and are often seen leaving the forest for the grasslands around to dig.Their burrows can cause havoc on trails as they will easily dig long and complex tunnels to access hibernating nests of the temperature sensitive Goil.
