Altered critter~

On the crest of a dilapidated overpass, silhouetted against the brooding sky, stands a solitary creature—an altered fox, its fur mottled with the myriad hues of this transformed world. Its eyes, bright with a curious intelligence, reflect the chaotic beauty of the dystopian landscape stretching out behind it.

This fox, an emblem of nature's adaptability, seems to observe us with an almost knowing gaze. "It seems we have an audience," I say, my voice low, not wishing to disturb the moment. "Perhaps it's a guardian of sorts, the keeper of secrets in a world that has forgotten so much."

We sit in silence, paying silent respect to this sentinel of the wasteland, a living connection to the Earth that was, and the Earth that is still becoming.
