The first sensations with SDXL 0.9 are being excellent. Much better than with the previous beta version. In portraits, it works very well.
Although the 6 credits per image take a little back to experiment more broadly... 😥

I've been using ClipDrop to test styles prior to trying them here. Cuts down on credits a good bit. 🙂 I have to say, it seems amazingly consistent as to results. Normally my styles have a lot more variance to them.

I see what you mean about “more computer generated” with 0.9. The image looks great but a bit gritty for that nostalgic feeling would be great.

Yeah, I specifically added "16mm film stock" to the other three prompts to try and replicate that, but I don't think it really made much of an overall difference.

Weird that just a bit of yellow in the eye...using the old interface you can try the inpainting that way...I tried it earlier with a creation but meh results are subpar...But you may get away with it on this???

Experimenting with my kaiju prompts in 0.9

It certainly delivers results a lot faster than SD 1.5, but I believe the images in SD 1.5 have a more authentic feel. These feel too polished. The creatures look like CGI and anachronistic.

Plus, IDK why it has a yellow eye that I can't fix with inpainting.

I wonder if you could put a textured clipping mask over this image?

I tried to see if I could to correct the yellow eye in the alligator pic, but 0.9 doesn't seem to allow for masking or inpainting just yet.

Hopefully, soon. I wonder what SD 1 will be compared to 0.9? It’s coming in a few weeks. I also wonder how many credits it will take?

What's that guy just doing standing there? Does he think he stands a chance at trying to reason with the thing?
