Mysterious XL v4
The mother of Dalton Alder and older twin sister of Jezail Barrington, making her Melody's aunt.
Mary and Jezail are actually of the Queiza Alphar race but I haven't been capable of properly getting the design depicted here. Queiza are the water themed race who can live on land or in freshwater lakes. They tend to prefer living in lands with lots of water around, but they have established a city underneath Lake Okeanos.
The Kingdom of Omyrus was originally founded by Queiza and nobles in the nation are known to find Queiza spouses every so often. Unlike the Lykans of Jehara and Masa, Queiza on land aren't nearly as prominent even in Omyrus.
Mary is one of the few survivors of the Bohanes Pirate attack, which is exactly what Dalton had intended. However, she goes rather mad after the event and cannot think coherently anymore.

Anime Style Elf Woman in Purple Dress
This image shows a full-body anime-style depiction of a young, motherly woman with long lavender hair and elven ears. She is wearing a simple purple dress and heeled shoes.

The idea behind Mary as a character existed a decade or more ago, as she has always been Dalton's mother ever since I properly fleshed out his backstory as a Sonic fancharacter.
I never gave her a design until this website, not even a Dream Avatar... I gave Jezail a Dream Avatar, though, and by then already established that Mary was her twin so I inew roughly what she would look like.
Dalton takes off after his father more, but making her a Queiza helped me push this idea I had for Dalton having a strong connection to water and being an excelled swimmer.
