Glorfindel in Second Age, back home, in Valinor (Big Glorfindel's series 21)

Glorfindel's spirit passed The Halls of Mandos for a short time. Due to his noble actions that had saved many Elves in the Fall of Gondolin, he was re-embodied and dwelt in Valinor.
Many, many years later Vala Manwë sent him back to Middle-earth as an emissary of the Valar and granted him powers nearly as strong as those of the Maiar.
And here is King of Valinor, King of Arda and main Vala:
