red sorghum flowers

This is a cane-like grass, up to 6 m tall with large brached clusters of grains. The individual grains are small, about 3-4 mm in diameter. They vary in colour from pale yellow through reddish brown to dark brown. Red, orange, and bronze sorghum is versatile enough to be used for everything from animal feed to fuel. Tan, cream, and white grain sorghum are made into flour for the food industry.
