River Secrets pt 9 "The Sister''

One night while he was out walking, he saw a mermaid sitting on the rock. Excited, he ran to her. But as he got closer he realized it wasn't his love that had disappeared two weeks ago. Her hair wasn't as red and her mermaid styling was different. When she turned around, she warned him that her sister---who was his true love---was in danger. She needed him to come with her to save her sister. Missing the glint in the mermaid's eyes, overcome with concern, he agreed. He let the mermaid lead him out to the water, thinking of his love and not of the danger that the mermaid's false promises of saftey brought....
