The Beautiful Life

For today's rainbows challenge, I wanted to create a woman wearing a rainbow dress. This was one of the creations I made but did not submit to today's challenge. But I published this creation because there are so many things I like about it: how the model looks like actress Kirsten Dunst (not in the prompt), the way her dress shimmers, the party decorations behind her. I imagine this woman lives in a futuristic world on another planet that has been colonized by humans from Earth, and she leads a privileged life filled with parties and great wealth. But most of the people who've moved to this planet struggle because they have jobs as drones building the infrastructure for the wealthy to consume and enjoy. And now this part of the song "Rainbow Connection" has popped into my head: "Rainbows are visions/ But only illusions/ And rainbows have nothing to hide ..."
