The tyrannosaurus rex, yellow teeth gnashing at shadows, bellowed their defiance into the sulfuric wind. Above, the pterodactyls circled, carrion crows of chaos, cackling their morbid hymns.
Below, the stegosaurus herd shuffled, bony plates heavy with the weight of fiery eternity upon their backs. This was Hell, a theme park of torment sculpted from molten rock and echoing with the screams of a million prehistoric prisoners.
It wasn't enough that a meteor larger than Everest smacked into the Earth and ended their reptillian reign, the impact and flames drove them all straight into the belly of the beast, well before Beelzebub had humans upon which to feast.
Resplendent in a lava forged crown, the fallen angel surveyed his Jurassic kingdom. His laughter, a rusty sawblade cutting through their saurian screams, echoed throughout the brimstone furnace.
A crimson moon bled over the Boneyard, casting skeletal shadows that danced over the menagerie of tortured dinosaur souls.
