raze (bouquet of roses)

After discussing with Stiles about Shakespeare literature, I went to the next room while he took a different direction. As I entered the next room, there are three things I first spot: two still life paintings from Clara Peeters and a girl in a red sweater sitting in the middle of the room. She’s stares at the painting of a bouquet of colorful flowers, arranged delicately against a dark background, with some petals scattered on the table. In the center, a large pink rose dominates amidst other flowers. I quietly sat down next to her a few meters apart from each other. She’s in awe from the painting, and she expressed her fondness for roses. She also mentions that she wished her brother would give her one like the one in the painting. Then, we both stare at the painting in silence. I wonder where her brother went.
