The Great Dragon is an entity worshipped throughout the Fourteen Deserts. They existed before the gods and their angels and are responsible for the chain of events that led to the creation of the gods and all of the Worlds, including Earth and the Deserts. The Great Dragon is genderless and represents non-duality, the combined and undifferentiated energies of light and dark.

The Great Dragon is worshipped in many "aspects," meaning They have various forms with different symbols and associations. The aspect of the Great Dragon depicted here is their highest aspect, only depicted as a black dragon head with purple eyes. This aspect is named "Drakus" and has the title of "the Most Ancient." This aspect represents non-duality, action, creation, destruction, and underlying mechanics of nature. This aspect's worship has declined since the rise of the Ivoristic religion and the elevation of their aspect, but worshippers can still be found throughout the Deserts, especially the Ember Wastes.
