The Great Owl of Mist Owldom, Fairyland

When the term Great Owl is used, most often it is a reference to the head of the city council of Oberon, the largest city of Fairyland. However, other places have their own Great Owls. The Mist Owldom is ruled by its own Great Owl. Like Oberon's Great Owl, the Mist Owl is transformed into an owl with a magic red pendant. However, the Mist Owl is not elected, but is chosen by the Seer of Powerful Things. The Mist Owl must prove they are ready to rule by passing several tests, including astral projecting outside of Fairyland. The current Great Owl of Mist has held his position for 750 moons.
