Sparrowlette was a tiny bird with an enormous fear of heights, ironic for someone born in a tree. Her family, avid fliers, encouraged her to overcome her fear, but Sparrowlette avoided the sky, sticking to low branches. Determined to be brave like her siblings, she signed up for skydiving lessons. After many tandem jumps with her instructor, the day came for her first solo jump.

Terrified, her heart pounded as she leapt, feathers flying as panic set in. But as she fell, she remembered her family’s encouragement and love. With a deep breath, she pulled the cord. The parachute opened, and in that moment, she felt both terror and exhilaration. When she landed, her family was there, proud and beaming. Sparrowlette knew she had conquered more than just her fear—she had taken her first flight into bravery, with her family’s support carrying her down.
