Wikipedia: Hermann Nitsch (29 August 1938 – 18 April 2022)[1] was an Austrian contemporary artist and composer. His art encompassed wide-scale performances incorporating theater, multimedia, rituals and acted violence. He was a leading figure of Viennese Actionism.

Born in Vienna, Nitsch received training in painting when he studied at the Wiener Graphische Lehr-und Versuchanstalt, during which time he was drawn to religious art.[2][3] He is associated with the Vienna Actionists—a loosely affiliated group of off-kilter and confrontational Austrian artists which also includes Günter Brus, Otto Muehl, and Rudolf Schwarzkogler.[4]

Nitsch's abstract 'splatter' paintings, like his performance pieces were inspired by his neutral perspective on humanity and being human. In the 1950s, Nitsch conceived of the Orgien Mysterien Theater (which roughly translates as Theatre of Orgies and Mysteries or The Orgiastic Mystery Theater) and staged nearly 100 performances between 1962 and 1998.[4]

Wikipedia: Georges Braque (/brɑːk, bræk/ BRA(H)K, French: [ʒɔʁʒ bʁak]; 13 May 1882 – 31 August 1963) was a major 20th-century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. His most notable contributions were in his alliance with Fauvism from 1905, and the role he played in the development of Cubism. Braque's work between 1908 and 1912 is closely associated with that of his colleague Pablo Picasso. Their respective Cubist works were indistinguishable for many years, yet the quiet nature of Braque was partially eclipsed by the fame and notoriety of Picasso.[1]

A striking portrait reminiscent of early 20th-century art. The image evokes a cubist aesthetic through its use of fragmented forms and muted color palettes.

In hundreds of trillions of years, when even the white dwarf stars have exhausted their fuel and the universe has gone completely dark, sentient life may still flourish by extracting angular momentum from black holes. In this imagined but plausible, physically consistent future, the entire life of the universe up til then may be recreated many billions of times over in the form of virtual simulations.

These would be hosted on a suitable medium such as computronium, a term for physical substrates which have run up against the limit for information density that our physics impose upon Turing complete calculators. Indeed, Moore's Law only takes you so far...

The simulation era is not forever though. Eventually the black holes will evaporate via Hawking radiation, and the computronium drives will fail, finally snuffing out all sentience in our universe!

Maximally entropic timelike infinity thus begins: the heat death of our universe...
