Major Tanny, a very old and broken life-size automaton of a chess-playing military figure from the 1880s. He does judge you a slacker.

My current passion is to build a life-size "Mechanical Turk", referring to a type of amusement from long ago that appeared to play chess. It was really a puppet that fooled many people. I'm building a puppet one and a matching costume I can wear to shoot some neat music video.

For some reason, I decided I found a "regiment" of these Australian military inspired (Boer War era) soldiers whose souls have been trapped in these defunct arcade machines. They are not happy. More to follow
