My cat is dying. 

His name is Pyewacket, just like the cat here, and, while I look nothing like Morgan, Pyewacket looks just like this cat.

I plan to keep him alive as long as I can, giving him the subcutaneous fluids he needs and making sure he has the wet food he loves in real life, and portraying him here in my fantasy life, having the adventures I wish he could still have. 

I've always thought of him as my familiar, but what does that even mean? In my mind, I am HIS person. 

I've never known a love this pure, untainted by anything physical, affected by anything other than affection. 

If I'm his person, who do I become once he's gone?
