When I was younger I really didn't care much for any of Pink Floyd's earlier albums. I've grown to appreciate them much more as I've gotten older. I'm going to do Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun next. 

Agreed, anything before Echoes is a difficult listen. I mostly know this era from covers of bands I like(d) which distilled and commercialized the songs which made me understand them more I guess. I'll be on the lookout for Set the Controls...
