The Enlightened Servants of Yellow

The victorious Union itself was not without it's share of strangeness. In the latter days of the closing of the war, several suspicious incidents of men going awol were noted and observed. Not just among the lesser enlisted men, but strangely rather, also especially among the officers and men of rankings. In the face of victory, they were mostly overlooked and forgotten about. If the notes had been compiled, the details compared, they would have given reason for concern. As they were not, the bizarre adherents of the movement calling itself "The Enlightened Servants of Yellow" were allowed to grow and spread their secretive and foreign influence unmolested and uncontested. Now it is said that they have the backing not just of junior officers and the common enlisted, but count among their numbers bankers, industrialists and politicians.
